Women Innovators Initiative Discussion @ AUTM 2016 Annual Meeting
Studies show that women innovators are less likely to disclose inventions than men, less likely to patent and even less likely to engage in entrepreneurial activity (such as starting a company or serving on boards). There are several reasons for the gender gap in the innovation process and some interesting programs that have been created to tackle this issue.
Please join Northwestern University's team for a kick-off meeting of discussions at AUTM's Annual meeting in San Diego this year.
The informal discussions will include brainstorming about ideas on how to best support female innovators to become inventors, and female inventors then to become entrepreneurs.
If you are NOT going to AUTM, please sign up to join the online discussion, sharing of information, newsletters and updates on this initiative.
