Promote your technologies to the global G20 business community.
The G20 Global Business Challenge is a unique collaborative graduate competition between universities, business schools and the technology community to solve a global problem. Being run as a partnership between three Australian universities, state and federal governments as part of the G20. The competition culminates in the finals in Brisbane as part of the lead-up to the G20 leaders Summit.
Invitations to universities and busienss schools globally have commenced. Teams can be formed by universities, by technology transfer offices and/or eligible graduate students.
Non-Australian finalist teams will receive $US 10,000 in travel aid to attend the finals.
- $US125,000 prize pool
- Global promotion of technologies within finalist team solutions through the governments G20 media network
- Potential access to up to $US 1 million for pilot funding (to be confirmed)
The challenge for 2014 is the treatment, reuse and recycling of water for large scale impact.
