We hope everyone had a great first full day at the AUTM 2016 Annual Meeting and that you were able to attend the Keynote Address with David Butler or the Industry/ Academia Partnering sessions and reception. It’s great to see so many of you participating in the meeting.
We have another great day planned for you today!
The Exhibit Hall (Grand Hall B – D - Lobby Level) will be open from 8am – 3:30pm, so be sure to check out (and thank) this year’s awesome exhibitors.
At 9am, the formal program for the day begins. We will kick off the Venture Forum (Harbor H, Level 2), which will feature both a Venture Capital Panel Discussion at 9am, and a Business Plan Competition which begins at 11:15am. If you want to see academic startup company representatives pitch their business plan to a seasoned panel of venture capitalists for a shot at the $10,000 Grand Prize and bragging rights, then this is the session for you! These are top-notch presentations by up-and-coming companies so do drop in.
For those seeking a different kind of networking event, there’s Technology Transfer Trivia (2 – 3:30pm – Harbor A - Level 2) and AUTM Casino Night (3:30 – 7pm – Seaport A - Level 2). There is an additional fee for this event and seating is limited. Some spaces are still available, but hurry to sign up as they won’t be available for long!
