This year’s annual meeting will include a panel called "Social Media Unplugged: Is it Worth the Hype?" To answer this question, the panel is asking all of you — whether you’re attending AUTM 2013 or not — to complete a survey about social media tools in your work.

It doesn’t matter if your use of social media tools is at the organizational level or the individual level. Even if you don’t use social media, your answers are relevant. We want to hear your insights on the role of social media in technology transfer.
The results of the survey will be shared during the panel (Session ED5 on March 1 at 9am: http://bit.ly/UFiTmQ), which features Montserrat Capdevilaof Johns Hopkins Univ., Dr. Melissa Maderia of the National Cancer Institute, my colleague Danielle McCulloch, and moderator Morgan Estabrook of the University of Virginia.
