I am very pleased to announce the appointment of the the first two Assistant Vice Presidents (AVPs) for Membership for this year.

Assistant Vice President Member Recruitment: Lille Tidwell
Tanaga's mission is to ensure your voice is heard and needs are met by AUTM. One area highlighted in discussions to date is addressing the needs of smaller institutions, who often face problems and challenges not found at major research universities. We believe this area of emphasis will be of great interest and benefit to both small US institutions as well as many of our international members, who are in the early years of developing their technology transfer offices. Tanaga and the Membership Committee need to hear from you on specific areas of interest.
Lille's mission is to keep our marketing communications current and effective. Her initial focus is supporting the work of the Communications Committee on their redesign of the website and taking a lead on ensuring it is even easier and painless to join over the web and do your membership renewal. Another foci is to find better ways to facilitate joining committees and doing other volunteer work as well as honoring our volunteers. Lille and the Membership Committee encourage you to suggest ways we can do just that.
