My last blog outlines some of the programming highlights for this year's AM...this blog is intended to address a few travel issues for those preparing to head to Anaheim. First, the Orange County/John Wayne Airport (SNA) is definitely the best one to fly into, if you can. LAX is farther away - but much, much farther when traffic is considered.
Second, the conference hotel is the Anaheim Marriott on Convention Way - it is NOT the Marriott Suites Anaheim. The suites hotel is not far away, but the two are not the same, and in fact the convention hotel is less expensive. There are only 1000 rooms in the convention hotel, so you may want to consider reserving your room earlier rather than later.
Lastly, though this is not Vegas, we are still going with a delayed start to the conference program the 2nd and 3rd days of the conference, so you get an extra hour to sleep off whatever you drank the evening before. No excuses to miss Christie Hefner's plenary Saturday morning at 9:00AM. See you there.
