Now that everyone has recouped from the Annual Meeting and finished counting their winnings, it is time to turn our thoughts to this year’s Eastern Regional Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, May 23rd to May 25th. Because it is only a fraction of the size of the Annual Meeting, the ERM provides a perfect opportunity for all of us to interact with our peers.
As a prominent juncture of government, industry and academia, Baltimore, as a location, is the perfect complement for this year’s program which features two and a half days of sessions ranging from a topic on collaborating with economic development organizations to a discussion about the current administration’s initiatives affecting university technology transfer.
One of the highlights will be the welcome address by Dr. Bahija Jallal, Executive Vice President, Research and Development, MedImmune LLC.

In addition to the scenic harbor, this year’s meeting will once again feature the extremely popular “dine around” giving attendees an opportunity to catch-up with old colleagues and meet new ones. To register for the dine around, attendees will sign up at the registration desk.
