On behalf of UF's Office of Technology Licensing, I would like to offer my statement of qualities of the AUTM Webinars I attended in the past year:
Smart Database Design; Managing Law Firms; Patent Basics for Administrative Personnel
First, the technical qualities of the webinars were excellent, we were always able to sign in with minimum effort, very easy instructions to follow and someone to help was there if needed. You could hear the speakers well, and they were very clear. Everyone signed in at the allotted time and there was little down time (waiting). Secondly, I was very excited to learn through the Webinars about experiences that other Technology Transfer Offices were encountering and to take away tools that I could work with right away. Everyday our teams are applying some of the practices and business habits that they learned from the other institutions involved in the Webinars. It was nice to have speakers who not only know our industry but who also have the experience and skill that we needed to approach our projects with new insight. I was really pleased with the results, and how the training materials really meshed with our specific needs and requirements of our organization. I look forward to many more webinars in the future.
