SIG – Industry Research Collaboration, Thursday 10:30am, Windsor Room
We have been organizing this SIG for the last several years. We are pleased to lead this session again in New Orleans as a way to put people from industry and university TTOs in one room to determine how we can continue building business based on university research.
University TTO staff might find be difficult to understand the concerns of industry.
Industry representatives might find it frustrating to work with universities.
During these economic times, it can be argued that cooperation between industry and university is essential for revenue generation, economic growth, job creation, and scientific advancement.
This SIG is the place for both sides to express their concerns, learn from each other, and strategize successful solutions.
