Back in San Antonio I encouraged AUTM members to keep an eye out for new things that we would be bringing your way as we seek to innovate the way AUTM serves its members. Innovating the Innovators is what I called it. Yesterday we launched just such an initiative to harness the power of video to show the impact of technology transfer on people in our own communities.
"Put a Face on It" is our newest program and through this campaign we're inviting all of our members to pitch an idea for a video that will feature the end user of a commercialized technology and by doing so we will, quite literally, see the face of impact. If your institution has a technology success story that you'd like to feature in a video, please apply for this program today. You can learn more about it and download the application here.

If your video concept is selected, you'll receive a grant of up to $3,000 to produce your video, which, with the help of AUTM, you will be able to share YOUR success story with the world. We're awarding up to 10 of these grants, and showcase these videos at the AUTM 2014 Annual Meeting ( www.autm.net/2014) in San Francisco next February. Our Put a Face on It selection panel will review the first round of applications September 4, so don't wait to apply.
If you have questions about the Put a Face on It video project or the Better World Project, contact Jodi Talley, AUTM Director of Communications at jtalley@autm.net or +1-847-559-0846 x 237.
Thank you for helping us illustrate the impact of technology transfer on people everywhere.
Sincerely,
Sean Flanigan, RTTP
