It’s Presidents’ Day! Who was the only president to receive a patent? Abraham Lincoln was the only president to receive a patent himself. Congressman Lincoln received Patent #6469 for "A Device for Buoying Vessels Over Shoals" on May 22, 1849.
As you prepare for your day, remember to wear comfortable shoes, bring lots of business cards and a sweater! Plan to attend the Keynote Address, Plenary and Awards Presentation, 8 – 10am - Seaport Ballroom – Level 2.
The Keynote Speaker is David Butler. The Keynote Address is a great place to network, since it typically draws a crowd.
