Dear AUTM Colleagues,

BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil, GE Oil & Gas, and Shell – these are just some of the confirmed attendees at the upcoming Oct. 22nd-23rd AUTM Energy Technologies Partnering Forum to be hosted by Rice University.    This is the last of the three AUTM Partnering Forums in this inaugural year, and if you have technologies in this space or relationships to build/cement in this area, this Partnering Event is not to be missed!  Baker-Hughes, Energy Ventures, National Oilwell Varco, and Schlumberger round out the impressive list of confirmed industry representatives and judging by the success of the prior Partnering Forums (one focused on Medical Imaging, and one focused on Neurologic and Orthopaedic Medical Devices - see below), this will be another excellent targeted and efficient opportunity to network with business development executives from the largest oil and gas companies and service providers in the world.

Those that attended the AUTM Medical Imaging Partnering Forum hosted by Case Western Reserve University in April had the opportunity to meet with representatives from GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba among others and an overview of that meeting can be found here: http://www.autm.net/MedicalImagingTechnology/13357.htm.

Those that attended the AUTM Neurologic and Orthopaedic Medical Device Partnering Forum hosted by Wake Forest Innovations last month were able to meet with business development executives at companies like Biomet, Cook Medical, Depuy Synthes Spine, J&J Innovation, K2M, Medline, Medtronic, and Stryker and an overview of that meeting can be found here:  http://www.autm.net/Neurological_Orthopaedic_Medical_Devices/14142.htm.

If your institution works with these giants in the oil and gas fields (or would like to), I hope you can join us for the AUTM Energy Technologies Partnering Forum on October 22nd-23rd.  Register by October 9th to save $50 off the already low $395 rate for AUTM Members (http://www.autm.net/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Energy_Technologies&Template=/CM/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentID=13480).

Sincerely,

Steve Susalka
VP for Meeting Development
