December 2010: The AUTM Distance Education Committee is looking for new volunteers to help produce our 2011 schedule of professional development webinars.
Committee members actively participate in education needs assessment and development, which includes group collaboration and individual projects, such as drafting session learning objectives, recruitment of speakers, management of due dates and the review of presentations.
The ideal committee member will be interested in creating Webinars for one (or more) of three target audiences: persons who are new to technology transfer, intermediate technology transfer professions and administrative/support professionals.
Committee members will participate in monthly conference calls and an annual in-person meeting during the AUTM Annual Meeting (if traveling to Las Vegas). Committee members must be members of AUTM.
