As the AUTM Vice President for Professional Development I'd like to personally invite you to The AUTM 2013 Symposium, Aug. 14-16 at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA.

More experienced and intermediate AUTM members indicated they would like to see offerings appropriate for their level. This exciting new event offers an opportunity to hear from several funding agencies and sought-after thought leaders for in depth discussions on advanced topics and valuable networking. That’s not all, that will be followed by 2 days of interactive training which will be case study based.

The first day of symposium would include sessions:

The Department of Commerce - i6 Challenge
Intellectual Property Protection - USPTO Perspective
Beyond the Patent - USPTO Insights
Entrepreneurship and Ecosystem Building

The next two days would focus on interactive training in advanced market as well business development and startups. You will have the opportunity to choose and interchange between the two offerings. The format would be to ensure crosspollination between the two sessions, with a joint session on the last day where all participants get to dive into in-depth analysis of the various case studies.

You'll also have plenty of hands on opportunities including:
Interactive Learning & Working Groups
In-depth Group Case Studies
Focus Group Discussions with Instructors and Other Professionals

If you register by June 26 you will save $75. Learn more or register here.
